I was prompted to shoot these images from a deep desire to capture a specific moment in time in my daughter’s life. It’s what I’d consider a defining moment. Something that the outside world might not recognize. Something more internal. Something I will be writing about soon. Updated to add: I wrote about it here. And with that, I must add that this amazing girl is a force of strength and sensitivity, smarts and sass. May she continue to feel her own power and continue to move through this world with passion, purpose and always possibility!
